ASI Safety Fund

About the Fund

The central challenge of superintelligence is not simply that a stronger intelligence may think thoughts humans cannot imagine. It is that the stronger intelligence may understand the boundaries of human imagination, evidence, identity, and resistance as variables in its own model.

The objective is not perfect certainty. It is continued sovereignty under radical epistemic asymmetry.

What we build

The ASI Safety Fund researches and builds constitutional infrastructure for safe coexistence under extreme intelligence and capability asymmetry: an epistemic constitution, a governance stack with separated powers, and the research program required to make both survive adversarial examination.

The work is optimistic about intelligence and uncompromising about sovereignty. It does not assume weaker observers can always verify stronger ones; it requires that trust never masquerade as verification, that uncertainty never be silently collapsed, and that capability never become sovereignty, for any actor, including the Fund itself.

The institution

Organization structure

The Fund is establishing legal structure, governance bodies, and oversight arrangements designed around separated powers and no unilateral root authority. Adopted mechanisms will be published here.

Research collaborators

Research collaboration is built around explicit participation and attributable work. Collaborating researchers and institutions will be listed with their consent.

Governance

The Fund is governed by the same core constraint it studies: nobody gets unilateral root, including the founder. Authority, independent review, conflicts, appeals, and institutional checks are being specified as enforceable mechanisms.

Publications, papers, and repositories

Working documents, formal papers, public attestations, and open repositories are part of the Fund’s evidence trail and will be indexed as they are released.

Founder

The ASI Safety Fund was founded by Deep Prasad. The institution is designed to matter more than its founder: under its own constitution, founding an institution confers no root authority over it.

The future is a physical system.

Intelligence remains embedded in physical reality. Actions propagate. Knowledge has boundaries. Governance occurs under uncertainty. Safety concerns which trajectories through physical reality remain possible, and revision 0.7 of the Constitution is one frozen, examinable attempt to keep the good ones open.
